Quality Technician: perform audits in support of ISO9001:2015, root cause analyses, inspections and other Quality techniques. Gauges and other computer-based measurement devices will be used while working closely with Quality Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and production personnel. Will also participate in kaizen activities, continual improvement projects and root cause and corrective action activities.
2 years' experience in a Quality or inspection-relation position required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, preferred but not required, in a related discipline such as Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business
Preferred certifications: Lean, Six-Sigma, Project Management, Auditing
Requires 2-5 years magnetic particle (certified to Level II) and ultrasonic (certified to Level II) inspection experience in a machine shop.
Requires a current AWS-CWI certification.
Be able to read blueprints and drawings.
Must be able to operate Jib cranes, Mag, UT equipment, and overhead hoists.
